DGP sanctions retirement gift for 84 police personnel

SRINAGAR, MAY 31: As a welfare gesture, Director General of police Dilbag Singh has sanctioned retirement gift of Rupees 50.40 lakh in favour of 84 officials of J&K Police on their retirement from the service. The gift has been sanctioned in favour of five gazetted officers, 52 non- gazetted officers, 19 lower subordinates and seven followers.

Police Headquarter is sanctioning retirement gift for the police personnel at the time of their retirement at a uniform rate of rupees sixty thousand. The gift is sanctioned for each retiring personnel to honour and appreciate their services in the department.

As a part of this gesture, DGP vide PHQ order No. 1363 of 2019 sanctioned the amount in favour of eighty four personnel. Out of these personnel, fifteen employees have retired in the month of April 2019 and the 69 employees including three from PHQ are retiring from service tomorrow.

ADGP Coordination PHQ A.K Choudhary handed over the gift cheques to two retiring officers at a simple function at PHQ Srinagar. They include Inspector Wali Mohammad Ganai and SI Ali Mohammad Thoker.
