SRINAGAR, MAY 25: Continuing its endeavor to promote merits among the wards of Police personnel, Director General of Police Dilbag Singh sanctioned meritorious scholarship in favour of three wards of Police personnel, SPOs.

The scholarship in favour of wards of three policemen has been sanctioned vide order No. 1981 of 2019 out of Central Police Welfare Fund and scholarship in favour of two wards of SPOs has been sanctioned  out of  Police Pariwar Fund vide order number 2001 of 2019.

The scholarship of Rs 12 thousand each has been sanctioned in favour of wards of two policemen for securing above 80% marks in MBA and M.Sc examinations and Rupees 8500 has been sanctioned in favour of one wards of Police personnel for securing above 80% marks in B.Sc Examinations during the academic session 2018-19.

Rupees ten thousand has been sanctioned vide in favour of two wards of SPOs for securing above 80% marks in the annual examination of class 10th during the academic session 2018-2019.

Police Headquarters has been sanctioning meritorious scholarship under different heads in favour of Police wards to inculcate competitiveness among them.
