Srinagar May 24, 2019: Nearly 100 sheep and goats were killed after lightning struck at Loran area of Mandi in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday evening.
Reports said that the nomads namely Mohd Qasim and Mohd Junaid while grazing sheep and goats at Loran village when suddenly the lightning hits the area during heavy rains.
In the natural calamity, 94 animals died on the spot. SHO Loran, Tilak Raj told this news agency that 94 animals died due to lightning amid inclement weather.
