Srinagar: Sajad Lone headed Peoples Conference today emerged as second highest vote taker in Kashmir though trailing behind National Conference.

In all the three constituencies of Kashmir Valley, NC secured 278799 votes; PC 132614 and PDP 119990 votes.

Thanking voters for reposing trust in him, Lone said that he was happy that PC has got second highest votes in the Valley.

“I thank all those who came out and voted. Win and loss r two sides of the same coin. M happy that PC is the second highest vote getter in the valley,” he tweeted.

He also congratulated Narendra Modi for his historic second term.
