Tangmarg, May 23: A landslide trigged by incessant rainfalls damaged a house at Fajipora village, about 8 km from Tangmarg, on Thursday morning.
According to locals, the backside of a two-storey house belonging to Abdul Mohammad Lone S/o Abdul Gani Lone suffered damage due to a landslide; however, the family members residing in the house had a narrow escape.
Meanwhile, the family has requested the district and tehsil administration to dispatch a team of revenue officials to Fajpora village for documenting the magnitude of damage.
