Srinagar, May 20: Peoples Conference leadership, in a special meeting to commemorate the martyrdom of late Abdul Gani Lone and Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq, paid rich tributes to both leaders for struggling to uphold the dignity and honor of the people of Kashmir.

“We pay homage to Late Abdul Gani Lone and Late Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq for the supreme sacrifice they made for Kashmir. It is time we remember their vision and far sightedness for the Kashmiri people. They remind us of a golden era of politics where moderate politics and intellectualism were the defining attributes of leadership”, PC general secretary Imran Reza Ansari said in a statement.
