HASK distributes essential commodities among needy and widows

Baramulla: Human Aid Society Kashmir (HASK) in collaboration with Kashmir Development Foundation and Help Foundation Kashmir the distributed rations and other essential commodities among them on Saturday.

Scores of beneficiaries identified by Human Aid Society from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district and adjacent areas of Hundwara, Watlab were provided the kits which include rice, floor, vegetable oil and other essential merchandise.

While addressing the gathering, Chairman Human Aid Society Kashmir Bashir Ahmad Mir said, “Our social and religious obligation is to look after and help the needy, poor, widows and orphans and this sacred month also teaches about obligations of taking care and help them.”

Speaking on the occasion, Patron HASK and senor journalist Karamat Qayoom said, “We are not doing any benevolence by providing help to these poor and needy but it our religious and moral obligation and we should not wait for needy to come for seeking help rather we have to approach them.”

He extended his gratitude to the people who are directly or indirectly associated with this organization and has been providing due support for the smooth functioning of the organization.

On this occasion, four new reputed retired employees joined HASK.
