Srinagar, May 17: Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Siddiqi was on Friday granted an extension for two years as Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora.
Governor of J&K State, who is also Chancellor of the varsity, has granted the extension in favor of Prof. Mushtaq Sidiqui whose three years term was completed today.
Dr Sidiqui was appointed as VC IUST in 2016 for a period of three years by the then Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
