DDC Kulgam reviews status of various work projects

KULGAM, MAY 17: District Development Commissioner, Kulgam Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani today conducted an extensive tour of Kulgam to assess and review the status of different ongoing developmental projects which includes Gujjar and Bakerwal hostel Kulgam,  Gund Kilam bridge and polytechnic college Kulgam.

ADDC, CPO, EXen R&B, Exen JKPCC and other officers accompanied the DDC.

The concerned Sectoral Officers and head of the institutions briefed the DDC about the progress of various ongoing development projects under execution in different parts of Kulgam.

During his visit to Kilam Gund bridge, DDC was informed that majority of work on the bridge has been completed. Later DDC visited Government Polytechnic College Kulgam where he inspected library,  laboratory and other sections of the college. On the occasion, DDC was apprised by the Principal of the college about the minor pending works in the college building. DDC directed the Exen-R&B to ensure completion of all pending works in college within set timeline.

DDC also visited Gujjar and Bakerwal hostel, Kulgam to take stock of pace of work on 100 bedded hostel. He emphasised upon the executing agency to gear up the pace of work to complete the project well in time.

Dr Wani also visited various water supply schemes in district which includes Gund Tankipora WSS and Razloo water supply scheme.
