Srinagar: Police organized two Police-Public meetings at Police Station Parimpora, chaired by SHO Parimpora and Police Station Lalbazar, chaired by SHO Lalbazar.
Respectable citizens of Gundhassibhat and adjacent areas participated in the meeting at Parimpora and at Lalbazar respectable citizens of Gulshan Mohalla participated.
These meetings were organized to facilitate an interaction with locals so as to allow community participation in day to day policing. The participants raised some issues during these meetings. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine problems will be redressed on priority, a police spokesman said.
