DDC Kulgam holds public outreach programme at Kund

KULGAM, MAY 16: In order to provide governance at the door steps and to ensure the grievance redressal mechanism at every level, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani today chaired a day long public outreach camp at Razloo Kund where he listened to the public grievances and demands.

The camp was attended by ADDC, CPO, CMO, Executive engineer of JKPCC besides other officers of the district and a large number of people of Razloo and adjoining areas.

Several deputations from Kancloo, Kraloo, Kund, Razloo, Nigeenpora, Oriel and other villages apprised the DDC about various issues relating to macdamization of roads, electricity, staff dearth in PHC, healthcare facilities and other demands of public importance.

A deputation from Razloo demanded 100 kv transformer and also demanded start of work on Chitergam Brinal road. People of the area also demanded X-ray plant for dental section of PHC Razloo. They also demanded resumption of work on Razloo irrigation canal.

Demand for protection and beautification of springs was also projected by the people Razloo and other villages.

During the camp, DDC heard their grievances and assured that steps will be taken for redressal in due course of time.
