Pulwama, May 16: A pre-dawn gunfight broke out in Dalipora village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.

A police official confirmed the news and said that following a tip off about the presence of some militants in Dalipora village, the forces cordoned off the area and in the meanwhile, the militants opened fire leading to an encounter.

When reports last came in, the exchange of fire was going on.
