DC Anantnag reviews progress of revenue department

ANANTNAG, MAY 13: Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir today held a meeting to review the progress of Revenue Department Anantnag.

The meeting was attended by ADC, ACR, all the SDMs, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and Patwaris of the district.

Threadbare discussions regarding updation and completion of Jamabandis, status of Girdawaris, attestation of pending mutations, recovery and deposition of mutation fee, implementation of J&K Public Services Guarantee Act and timely disposal of cases, verification of missing GCPs, identification of state land for various developmental projects, encroachment on ROW and agricultural land along National Highway and other related issues, were held in the meeting.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers of the revenue department to speed up their work and clear all the pendencies at an earliest. He stressed upon the officers including the Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars also to remain available in the field so that public can have easy access to them and their issues are addressed in a quick manner.

The DC directed for displaying of hoardings, mentioning services provided under Public Services Guarantee Act, both in Urdu and English languages outside all the offices of the Revenue Department Anantnag.
