Srinagar May 13, 2019. The District Congress Committee (DCC) Srinagar has expressed profound grief over the passing away of senior party leader Ch. Bashir Ahmad Naaz and also condemned the incident of rape of three year old in Bandipora District.
A spokesman of the party said that a meeting of party leaders was held today wherein threadbare discussions over the current situation in Srinagar District and elsewhere in Kashmir Valley were held. Many issues of public importance also came under discussion.
The DCC Srinagar expressed serious concern over the rape of three year old girl in Bandipora District and condemned this shameful incident in strongest words while demanding exemplary punishment to culprit.
The DCC also held a condolence meeting over the sad demise of Senior Congress Leader Ch. Bashir Ahmad Naaz Former Minister & Vice Chairman Gujjar Bakerwal Board J&K and expressed profound grief over this demise.
The meeting was presided over by DCC President Iran Naqib and attended by senior party leaders, BPs, PCC, DCC members and others, said the spokesman.
