Advisor Sharma reviews progress of work on Jammu projects

Jammu, May 11: Advisor to Governor K K Sharma, today chaired a meeting of the executing agencies and concerned officers to review the progress of work on projects under execution in Jammu Division.

The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary, Rohit Kansal Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, GM NHIDCL, Vijay Kumar, Chief Engineer, M&RE, PHE, PWD (R&B) besides senior functionaries of IIM, IIT, NHAI and other concerned.

The Advisor tool detailed  review of status of work on the mega projects under execution in different parts of Jammu division.

The officers of executing agencies apprised the Advisor  that the work on all mega projects is in progress.

The major projects which were reviewed in the meeting included Ring Road Project, 4 Laninng Jammu-Akhnoor Road, Udhampur to Ramban Road, IIM campus building and IIT campus.

The Advisor asked the concerned officers to send work progress reports timely. He further asked for removing bottlenecks and expediting the pace of work on mega projects.
