SRINAGAR, MAY 08: Secretary Rural Development Department and Panchayat Raj, Sheetal Nanda, Wednesday convened a meeting to review progress of various ongoing projects in Kashmir division.
The meeting took comprehensive stock of various schemes of the Department in the state including MGNREGA, Geo-tagging, job cards etc.
The Secretary RDD directed fast pacing the implementation of various departmental schemes so that the socio-economic landscape of the rural areas gets the requisite fillip.
While reviewing other schemes of the Department, Nanda exhorted upon the officers to adhere strictly to set guidelines.
Secretary was also briefed about the physical and financial achievements registered by the department.
The meeting was attended by Director Rural Development Kashmir, Qazi Sarwar, Director Panchayati Raj Muhammad Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, Additional District Development Commissioners of various districts, Additional Secretary/ Member Secretary MGNREGA Rakesh Kumar Badyal and Additional Secretary, Sudharshan Kumar and ACDs of Kashmir Division.
