On the occasion, DDC Bandipora directed the officers of JKPDD to ensure scheduled power supply to consumers in the district especially during Sehri and Iftar times. The meeting discussed threadbare several issues relating to power sector.

He enjoined upon the engineers of PDD to ensure better power supply to the consumers and adhere to the curtailment schedule of power supply in letter and spirit.  He asked the officers to ensure the availability of linemen in field at their respective places so that faults, if any, can be rectified at earliest for the convenience of the people.

DDC stated that the issues with regard to power supply will be resolved once the Patushai Grid is fully functional. He said the work is apace on Badampora-Bandipora Transmission Line and is in final stage.

He also urged the people to cooperate with the administration by using the electricity judicially.
