Tangmarg, May 07: The inhabitants of north Kashmir’s Tangmarg alleged the Power Development Department (PDD) of not following the summer electricity schedule.
According to locals, the PDD is resorting to frequent unscheduled power cuts in Check-e-Ferozpora, Ferozpora, Mahayan, Badipora and other adjoining areas. “The PDD is supposed to follow summer electricity schedule but many areas of Tangmarg are still getting electricity as per the winter schedule,” the locals alleged.
They appealed the Governor’s administration to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during Iftaar and Sehri time.
