SRINAGAR, MAY 07: Director Agriculture Kashmir, Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi, today conducted an extensive tour of district Budgam wherein he took stock of the facilities for newly upgraded soil testing laboratory at Budgam.
He stressed on increasing the efficiency of the laboratory so that farmers do not face difficulty in getting soil health cards.
The Director visited various agriculture offices in the district where he took stock of the working of the field functionaries. He instructed the officials for close coordination with the farmers for overall development of farm sector.
Chief Agriculture Officer Budgam described the overall agriculture scenario of the district and informed about climate change resilient programme in the district.
The Director was accompanied by Joint Directors Inputs/Extension/ Engineering, Project Coordinator Mushroom, Dy. Director Planning and other senior officers of the department.
