Pulwama boy all set to represent India in World Hukuai Karate Champion

Pulwama, May 02: A youth from South kashmir's Pulwama is all set to represent India at the International level as he has been selected for the upcoming World Hakukai Karate Championship.

Hafiz Mohammad Asif, son of Mohammad Ramzan Bhat, resident of Naina Batpora village of south Kashmir's Pulwama district has been selected to represent India at international level to be played at Japan in August this year. He had won Silver medal in 9th South Asia Hakukai Karate championship at international indoor stadium New Delhi.

Asif, who is currently studying in 4th semester at government Degree College Bijbehara, told Kashmir Images that he struggled for many years at the national level in order to participate at an international platform.

"Before winning silver at South Asia championship, I had won many medals at state and national level in martial arts and now I will make most of this opportunity," he said.
