SMVDU Student participates in TEDx Workshop

Jammu, May 01:  Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU),  Katra, School of Mechanical Engineering student, Tarun Mahajan attended TEDx India Organizers Workshop 2019.

The two-day workshop was hosted by the TEDx India Ambassador, Ajit Sharma, in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The workshop was exclusively for Indian Licensees and Organizers designed to provide learning & collaboration opportunities to all the active TEDx Organizers of India and to discuss best practices & ideas for the TEDx India community.

Mahajan being the organizer of TEDx SMVDU-2018 event represented in the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University was only person to represent Jammu & Kashmir state.

The workshop was attended by some of the oldest and newest TEDx Organizers of India, from more than 22 Indian cities joined for one of the largest TEDx Organizers Workshop.

Tarun said that it was an all-round learning experience for him as people from almost 22+ cities ranging from school students, teachers & Principals, college students, college Professors, to Entrepreneurs from diverse fields who were made to spend maximum time together. Unlike sitting and attending lectures there were interactive sessions where the participants discussed and shared their experiences.

Tarun Mahajan expressed his gratitude to his mentors, and thanked SMVDU for providing him with such an opportunity.
