Srinagar, April 29: Accusing NC and PDP of ignoring Kandi belt of Rafiabad constituency, Peoples Conference Senior Vice President and former minister Abdul Gani Vakil assured that if Peoples Conference comes to power, this area would be developed on priority and no stone would be left unturned to elevate the lives of the people.

Addressing people in Wehlotra, Brandub, Braman, Jundimal ,Naribal, Balhama and Panzala in Kandi belt of Rafiabad Constituency, Vakil lambasted former NC and PDP Governments for what he called as the “indifferent attitude” of these governments towards this area which lacks basic amenities of life like electricity, road, healthcare, water  and tourism although it has mesmeric beauty.

Vakil assured people that if they vote PC to power, this area would be given top priority and developmental activities would be started here at war footing to uplift this beautiful but undeveloped area.

While talking about the political environment prevailing in state and country, Vakil said that, “some forces are talking about scrapping Article 370 but they are the worst enemies of the nation because 370 goes, the relation between union of India and J&K ends automatically”.

Vakil appealed to the people to stay united in this cause and be prepared to safeguard the special status even at the cost of our lives. Senior leader Khurshid Ahmad Khan, Javaid Ahmad Masoodi and Youth leader Umar Rashid also spoke on the occasion.
