Srinagar, Apr 24: A body of a 25-year-old youth was found under mysterious conditions at Bhaderwah area of Doda district on Wednesday.
Reports said that the body of Asif Khan, son of Abdul Qayoom Khan of Chinote Bhaderwah, was found lying in a building housing information office at Pasri near bus stand in the town today morning.
Police also confirmed the incident.
News agency GNS reported that after conducting medico-legal formalities including the postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to the family for last rites.
The cause of death will be ascertained once the postmortem report will come, police said.
“A case under 174 CrPc has been initiated and further investigations were taken up,” police said.
