NIA summons Geelani’s grandson
Srinagar, Apr 24: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has summoned Hurriyat-G chairman Syed Ali Geelani’s grandson, Anees-ul-Islam Shah for questioning.
Anees is a son of incarcerated Hurriyat-G leader Altaf Shah (Fantoosh).
Quoting sources, local newsgathering agency KNS reported that Anees has been asked to appear for questioning at NIA headquarters in New Delhi on April 29.
His father Altaf Shah was arrested in the year 2017 by the NIA along with several other Hurriyat leaders in an alleged funding case.
