Srinagar: Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, General Officer Commanding In Chief Northern Command visited forward areas to review the security situation and operational preparedness in Eastern Ladakh today.
The Army Commander was accompanied by the Fire and Fury Corps Commander. The Army Commander was briefed in detail by the General Officer Commanding Trishul Division about the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in Eastern Ladakh, a defense spokesman said in a statement issued today.
During his interaction with the troops, the Army Commander appreciated their hardwork and dedication in their brave endeavor to safeguard the nation’s borders while operating in hostile terrain and adverse weather conditions.
