UDHAMPUR, APRIL-23:- An Inter School Tournament for Boys and Girls U/14Yrs, U/17Yrs of Zone Udhampur began here today.
The department of Youth Services & Sports has organised the sports event which will witness contests in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Volley Ball.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kharati Lal Sharma was the chief guest and declared the tournament open.
As many as 193 Boys drawn from twenty different government and private educational institutions of the zone are participating in the tournament.
In Volley Ball U-14 years Boys category, Happy Model Higher Secondary School, Udhampur defeated Middle School Garhi.
Similarly, in Kho-Kho U-14 years Boys Category, Government High School Malhar thrashed Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School.
In Kabaddi U-14 Boys, Government School Badali Rakh defeated Govt School Gujjar Hostel by score23-03.
