PDD employee succumbs to his burn injures
Slain employee was father-of-five

Tangmarg: Eight days after suffering severe burn injuries while repairing an electric line in Yaal Pattan, a daily wager employee of Power Development Department (PDD) succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura on Thursday.
According to family inmates, father of five children, 44 year old Ghulam Hassan Wani son of Abdul Rehman Wani of Mugama Kunzer was repairing 1100 KV electric line at Yaal Pattan when got electrocuted and suffered severe burnt injuries due to negligence of officials at concerned grid station.
“Wani succumbed at SKIMS Soura. Slain employee’s family is living in abject poverty,” a family member said.
The family of the slain employee has appealed Governor Administration, Chief Engineer PDD for immediate relief and job to the next to kin of deceased.
A case in this regard stand registered at police station Pattan.
