LS Polls: 6.1 pc voting in 2nd phase with lowest turnout 0.9 percent in Srinagar till 9 AM

Srinagar, Apr 18: Over six per cent votes were polled till 9 am in Udhampur and Srinagar parliamentary seats of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Thursday.

While the Udhampur seat recorded 8.6 per cent polling, the Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary seat recorded 1.23 per cent polling.

Following district wise figures were provided by the officials: Reasi 9.7 percent; Kathua 13.5 percent; Udhampur 12 percent; Ramban 2.9 percent; Doda 9.7 percent; Budgam 1.6 percent; Ganderbal 1.2 percent; and Srinagar 0.9 percent.

Twelve candidates are in fray for the Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary constituency seat. (KNS)
