JAMMU, APRIL 17: Advisor to the Governor, Khurshid A. Ganai, has greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira.
In his message, the Advisor asked people to heed the teachings of Lord Mahavira as these have great relevance even today. He said Lord Mahavira gave to the humanity the message of love and affection and self sacrifice for the greater good.
The Advisor also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the state on this auspicious occasion.
