Four injured in Jammu grenade attack

Srinagar, Apr 17: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was injured after suspected militants on Wednesday fired a grenade on their camp in Nowdal area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

An official said that militants fired a grenade at 180 battalion CRPF camp in Nowdal village of Tral resulting in injuries to one CRPF personnel.

“In the blast, the CRPF head constable Prashant suffered minor splinter injuries in the hand. The injured trooper has been evacuated to hospital for treatment,” he said.

Soon after the incident forces launched a hunt to nab the attackers.
