LEH, APRIL 16: The Leh district Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Nodal Officer, Tashi Dolma and her team today held a voter awareness drive at the Ladakhi Girls Hostel at Jammu.

Tashi Dolma, while addressing the youngsters, highlighted the need of their participation in elections and said that larger participation in elections would help to strengthen democracy and overall growth of the country. She informed that the left out eligible persons can register their names in the electorate rolls in Leh till April 18, 2019.

A demonstration on the operating and functioning of Electronic Voting Machines, Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail machines was conducted at the hostel premises. This was followed by the distribution of election badges to the students.
