According to locals, visitors park their vehicles on the main road in Magam Town and thereby affecting smooth movement of traffic on the road that leads to tourist destination Gulmarag.

They said that the tourists traveling to Gulmarg, Doodpathri and Tosamaidan have to face many difficulties while travelling through the main market.

“It is the private cars that occupy the road from Agrikalan to Chichilora and leave the traffic in mess,” they added.

The locals requested the District Administration to depute a company of traffic police and a recovery van so that illegal parking is curbed.
