JAMMU, APRIL 12: Governor Satya Pal Malik, on the occasion of commemoration of first centenary of the ‘Jallianwala Bagh Massacre’, has paid homage to the martyrs who laid down their lives for their motherland on 13th April, 1919 at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar.
Paying rich tributes to the martyrs among whom many were from J&K, Governor observed that their sacrifice will be remembered by the generations to come and will always serve as an inspiration for people to safeguard their sovereignty which came after so much struggle and sacrifices.
