Sehrai pays tributes to slain militants

Srinagar: Tehreek-e Hurriyat chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai today condemned the threat calls to GK staff and expressed serious concern over the incident. He sought immediate action against the culprits.

In a statement issued today, he said that it is well thought out policy to silence, harass and intimidate the media house.

Sehrai said GK is a national asset and an institution of JK. So any harm to it will be treated as an attack on voice of Kashmir and its interests.

Further, Sehrai condoled the demise of Jammat e Islami leader Ghulam Nabi Faridabaadi of Jammu. He said the deceased was a noble soul.

Moreover, Sehrai prayed for the speedy recovery of GK Photo Journalist Habib Naqash who is undergoing a treatment in a hospital.
