Budgam, April 03: Mahayan-XI continued their winning streak by registering another comprehensive win in ongoing ‘Trapai Premier League’ played at Trapai, Budgam. The match was reduced to 16-overs each side as the start was delayed by wet outfield.
Earlier, Poshkar-XI opted to bat first after winning the toss and posted 130 runs on board in allotted 16 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. For Mahayan-XI, Tanveer picked up 4 wickets while as Showkat bowled an economical spell picking up 3 wickets as well.
In reply, Mahayan-XI openers took the team off to a flying start as the duo added 102 runs for the first wicket before Ishfaq mistimed a pull and gave away his wicket. Before falling, Ishfaq did the damage as he scored fiery 77 runs off just 28 balls while as Naveed anchored the other end adding 35 runs to his name. Mahayan-XI achieved the target in 10th over losing only 2 wickets. Ishfaq for his superlative quick-fire knock was adjudged as man of the match.
