Kashmiri kick boxer to represent India at Turkey

4th International Turkish Open Kickboxing Tournament

Tangmarg, April 03: A ten-year-old Kick Boxer, Zainub Mushtaq, from kilwara Hariwatnoo village of Tangmarg Baramulla is going to represent India in 4th International Turkish Open Kickboxing Tournament to be held from 4th to 7th April 2019 in Turkey.

Zainub has participated in several state and national level events and has won 3 national and 2 district level competitions.

In January last year, she participated in a national event of kick-boxing which was held in Delhi from 16 January to 20 January. The event was organized by WAKO, India kick-boxing federation of India, where she secured first position.

Talking to Kashmir Images, Mushtaq Ahmad Magray, father of Zainub, said that it is a proud moment for him that his daughter will be representing the country at the international event. “Having myself participated in various national events in skiing, I can understand the importance of my daughter’s participation at an international event,” Mushtaq added.
