Pinjoora, March 28: In the ongoing ‘Pinjoora Premier League’, Mahayan-XI empowered 6-wicket win over Tangmarg Lions. Earlier after winning the toss Tangmarg Lions opted to bat first and were restricted on 125 runs in allotted 20 overs. Mahayan-XI bowlers exhibited discipline and accuracy as none of the batsmen from Tangmarg Lions could stand tall and deliver. For Mahayan-XI, Tanveer and Nasir spearheaded the bowling attack as the duo picked up three wickets each, while as Parvaiz, Imran and Irshad picked up a wicket each.

In reply, pursuing the target of 126 runs Mahayan-XI lost both the openers in quick succession. Showkat after hitting a few boundaries also fell while endeavouring to clear the boundary. Rayees was then joined by young Tuffail as the duo put on 85 runs partnership with striking shots battered all around the park. Tuffail top-scored with 40 runs while as Rayees supplemented with 30 runs. Mahayan-XI won the match by six wickets with seven overs to spare. Tuffail for his exceptional batting was adjudged as man of the match.
