SCSWF Khrew calls on Div Com, seeks redress of grievances

SRINAGAR, MARCH 28: A deputation of Senior Citizens Social Welfare Forum (SCSWF) of Khrew area today called on Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, to apprise him of their issues.

The deputation put forth various demands like upgradation of Health Centre, constitution of Tehsil besides establishments of Degree College and Munsiff court, power receiving station, abattoir and other grievances.

The Divisional Commissioner assured the delegation that their genuine concerns will be looked into and addressed on priority.

He asked the Deputy Commissioner Pulwama and other concerned officers to personally examine the demands and send the compliance report to the Divisional Commissioner’s office within a week.

Later, representatives of street vendors of Tanchibagh, Pampore area also met Divisional Commissioner Kashmir for their proper rehabilitation.

Div Com directed Deputy Commissioner Pulwama to identify suitable chunk of land which is adjacent to Tanchibagh area for the construction of vending zone so that all street vendors will be relocated and properly rehabilitated there.

Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Dr Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Chief Engineer R&B, Director FCS&CA, Joint Director Urban Local Bodies, Deputy Director Health Services, Regional Director J&K State Pollution Control Board, Assistant Commissioner (central) and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
