Baramulla, March 28: Cousin Sister of senior journalist and correspondent Kashmir Uzma passed away on Thursday after prolonged illness at her residence at ZamZampora Zandafaran Baramulla.
Large number of people participated in the funeral prayers of the young student at her ancestral graveyard Wednesday late evening. People from cross section society including socio-economic, political, law and religious organizations have expressed their condolences and solidarity with bereaved family and noted journalist Fayaz Bukhari of Kashmir Uzma.
Condolences and prayer meetings were held at the residence.
Baramulla Working Journalist Association and North Kashmir Journalist Association expressed their deep sympathies with the bereaved family.
