Srinagar, Mar 25: Four persons, including a woman, were injured, two of them critically in a road accident on Srinagar-Leh highway in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
Officials said that two cars (JK16A-425 and JK16-4999) travelling in opposite directions collided with each other at Kijpora, resulting in injuries to four persons.
The injured were identified as Irfan Ahmad Dar of Margund Kangan and Sharifa Bano of Cherwan Kangan, Siraj Ahmad Mir and Mohammad Ashraf Mir of Sumbal Bandipora.
They were rushed to Sub-district Hospital Kangan wherefrom critically injured Siraj (18) and Ashraf of Sumbal Bandipora were rushed to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
