Jammu, 23 March: Police Station Dangi Wacha of Police District Sopore has been awarded ‘Certificate of Excellence’ by Union Home Ministry for being selected as the best Police Station of Jammu and Kashmir in the annual ranking of Police stations for 2018.
In this regard the certificate signed by Union Home Minister and Union Home Secretary has been received at Police Headquarters, Jammu, said an official of J&K police.
“On this feat, the Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir Dilbag Singh has expressed his happiness and conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the Police District Sopore and Kashmir Police. DGP in his message said that despite facing various challenges Kashmir Police particularly Sopore Police has achieved this great honour,” he said.
“It is pertinent to mention that ten best Police Stations in the country were announced during the DGsP/IGsP conference 2018,” he added.
