Shopian, Mar 19: Mirwaiz Shopian Moulvi Abdul Hameed (75) passed away on Tuesday after brief illness at a hospital in Srinagar.
Moulvi Hameed was admitted at JVC, Srinagar on March 15 after he developed some health issues, said a family member.
“He breathed his last today at around 1 pm,” said the family member.
Mirwaiz Hameed is survived by four sons and a daughter.
