Jammu, Mar 19: Two persons, wanted in different cases, were arrested in Jammu region, police said Tuesday.
Ajay Singh, arrested from Jammu district’s Bishnah area on Tuesday, was wanted in a case of assault on a woman registered in 2014, they said.
Mohammad Anwar alias Phamara from Samba district’s Bagoon Palth village, was arrested from Udhampur on Monday, they added.
Anwar was evading arrest for two years after an FIR was registered against him on charges including assault and trespassing at Vijaypur Police Station, they said.
