Srinagar, March 16: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chairman has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a tragic road accident on Chanderkoot-Rajgarh route in Ramban district and added that despite ‘steep increase’ in the number of road accidents, the administration had done nothing to ensure safe travel on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway.
Sehrai offered his condolences to the affected families and prayed for speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.
In a press release issued here, Sehrai also condemned the ‘arrest spree’ and detention under PSA stating that the detention of Kashmiri people was outrageous adding that the administration was practicing all the methods of ‘coercion, oppression and arm twisting’ to crush the ‘people’s sentiments’.
