Baramulla, March 16: Nehru Yuva Kendra Baramulla organized series of awareness and sensitization programme on HIV/AIDS in different parts of district to create awareness among youth and students.
Resource Person highlighted the different dimensions of HIV/ AIDS its causes, effects and preventive measures at Pattan, Dewanbagh, Zaingeer,Jadee,Watergam Rafiabad, Sheeri Nawarv and Rohama Rafiabad
The speakers while addressing the programs said that as it is a notion that prevention is better than cure but in case of AIDS there is no cure prevention is the only care.
They further opined that we all must follow the quote know AIDS for no AIDS. Dr. Asif another resource person also cautioned the delegates with the global concern of HIV/AIDS and asserted them to act as the potential resources for the awareness among general masses.
District Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Abdul Aziz Hakeem briefed about the main objective of the programme and elaborated about the disease HIV-AIDs as well as preventing measure from the disease.
