A meeting in this regard was held at the residence of Ghulam Rasool Dar on 12 March wherein it was unanimously agreed upon through signature campaign that a road connecting all the paddy belts belonging to the concerned villagers will be constructed on immediate basis.

Consequently on 13 March early morning, all the zamindars comprising of 108 men of all age groups started the work through HALSHEERI (team work effort). They were assisted by two JCBs, men and machinery, the project of road construction was undertaken peacefully.

The supervising elders and all the Zamindars have thanked the locals who donated land, cash and kind to make this venture a success.

All the concerned villagers have requested the District Administration, NABARD and other Governmental agencies for further up gradation, bouldering and transformation of this peasant road.

The villagers said that they are quite hopeful about the courtesy of District administration towards the needful development of this communal effort by the zamindars of Bulbul Nowgam.
