Sopore, March 13: Five residential houses were completely damaged in a major fire incident during the intervening night of Wednesday in Chankhan area of north Kashmir’s Sopore.
According to local reports, fire broke out in a three-storey residential house of Khazir Muhammad Malla and quickly spread to other nearby houses and ended up destroying four residential houses.
The other gutted housed belonged to Bashir Ahmad Malla, Abdul Rashid Malla, late Muhammad Maqbool Malla and Ghulam Nabi Malla.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard.
