Pulwama: Tehsil office courtyard in dilapidated condition

Pulwama, Mar 12: The courtyard of Tehsil office in south Kashmir’s Pulwama town has been left in a dilapidated condition and thereby causing immense hardships to the visitors here.

According to the locals, Tehsil office Pulwama is a heritage site as it was constructed during Maharajah’s regime. “Since its foundation, the courtyard has never been renovated.”

One of the visitors said: “It is mud and filth all over the courtyard and ironically no steps are being taken by the government to make the place clean.”

When contacted Tehsildar Pulwama, Tahir Ahmad Malik, said: “I will bring the issue into the notice of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama.”
