Jammu: One person died and 29 others were injured in a grenade blast at Jammu bus stand on Thursday, sources said.
Official sources said that the blast took place at 11:45 am when a grenade was hurled at a stationary bus at the main Bus Stand in Jammu.
Thirty people were injured in the blast and where rushed to GMC hospital Jammu for treatment.
One of the injured, sources said, succumbed to injuries at the hospital while as two more injured persons are stated to be in critical condition.
A high alert has been declared and the government has appealed to the people to remain calm.
