Jammu March 02: Director General of Police (DGP), Dilbag Singh, on Saturday conveyed condolences on behalf of the Jammu & Kashmir Police to the bereaved family of two slain policemen.
In a statement issued here, a spokesman of Jammu & Kashmir Police said: “The two slain cops were working as PSOs to SsP Handwara and were participating in the operation launched against JeM militants yesterday at village Babagund Handwara.”
“We also pay our tributes to Insp Pinto and other jawan of CRPF who made supreme sacrifice of their lives in the same operation yesterday,” reads the statement adding, “Our best wishes to the injured officers and jawans of army police and CRPF for their speedy recovery.”
